Your booking request will be sent to the Village Chair, who will confirm availability and send you payment details.

Village Gazebo Terms and Conditions
💰 Hire Cost
• £20 per day
• £50 refundable deposit (see below for conditions)
• Free for official village groups (WI, village fete etc), subject to availability
✅ Terms of Use
1. Collection & Return
• You are responsible for collection and return on the agreed dates
• It must be returned dry, clean, and properly packed
• The deposit will be held until the gazebo is checked before its next use
• If it’s wet, dirty or damaged, part or all of the deposit may be retained
2. Condition & Damage
• Any visible damage (to frame, fabric, zips etc.) should be reported when returning
• If damage or mould is discovered later, we may contact you to discuss
• Repair costs may exceed the deposit, so please use and store it with care
3. Set-Up & Take-Down
• Must be erected and dismantled by at least two capable adults
• Full instructions are provided — follow them carefully
• Never close or store the gazebo if it’s wet
4. Weather Conditions
• Do not use in winds over 20mph or in stormy conditions
• Always secure it using the supplied weights and pegs
• If in doubt, don’t put it up — safety first
5. Storage During Hire
• The gazebo may only be left up overnight in a secure private garden
• Do not leave it unattended in public areas or exposed locations overnight
• If rain is forecast and you can’t take it down, make sure it’s well-secured and inform us as soon as possible
6. Transport
• The gazebo is large and heavy when packed — make sure your vehicle can accommodate it
7. Insurance & Liability
• The gazebo is not insured for private use
• The hirer is fully responsible for safe use and setup
• Any injury or damage caused during your event is your liability
• The Village Committee accepts no responsibility for incidents during private use
🔍 After Use – What Happens?
• The gazebo is inspected before its next use or hire
• If issues are found (mould, breakage, etc.), we will contact the previous hirer
• We reserve the right to retain the deposit and/or request a contribution toward repair or replacement if needed
